This is a blog about my journey to weight loss in 2011! I have so many things motivating me to keep with it this year: Biggest one is.....I am getting married to the man of my dreams :) And, this is the year I WILL make into the CHP academy. The only thing holding me back up until now was me, but not anymore!

Good Morning Bootcamp!
Had a great workout this morning (THANK YOU ADAM)! And had some great company from Nicole and friends :) Not going to lie it was a tough one today, not feeling too hot but knew I had to make myself go today because I am not going to get into the CHP academy by wishing and dreaming. I try to remember that when I feel I can't go those last 5 seconds on those planks or run that last lap. The 6am workout crew has been a great team to work with and they keep you going when you feel like throwing in the towel..... best motivational quote of the day comes from Joan "Shut up! its for your dress!", and you better believe I finished those last 10 seconds of planks!!! Sometimes we just have to remember what it is we are pushing ourselves for. You can find million excuses why you "can't do it" or why "you'll do it tomorrow", but you only need ONE reason to do it now. Those reasons are what will motivate you to keep going, and a good workout team can't hurt ;)

Last Workout of 2010!
Just finished my last workout of 2010 and feeling pretty proud of myself :) It was not easy getting up at 5am and peeling myself away from my warm and cozy bed, to go out in the cold to scrape ice of my windshield (yea, in California??) to go to bootcamp this morning. The "old" Ami would have given in to the many excuses I gave myself not to go this morning, but not anymore! That would be the easy way out. I feel that this is a resolution I can stick with this year, unlike the many years past I am actually ready for this one and am getting a head start. Just keep looking forward! :)

Day 2
So just finished Day 2 back at Fit Body Bootcamp! Feeling pretty good about it, and after talking to Adam even more motivated to stick with it. One of the factors that always made me quit in the past is that I never had "instant gratification", I was always expecting to loose 4lbs. in the first week and it just doesn't work that way (unfortunately). Just have to remember that its easy to continue on the way I am, but no one ever got anywhere they wanted without a little hard work :)
